Welcome to MCR Fan, the UK's number one fan site for the band My Chemical Romance. Here you'll find the latest band news, lyrics to all their songs, new tour dates and loads more. We also have a forum where fans of My Chem can chat with one another.

For those who haven't heard of My Chemical Romance, (often shortened to MCR or My Chem); they are an American rock band which formed in 2001 who have had about 4 major hits. MCR was formed by Gerard Way after being inspired by 9/11. The current band members are Gerard Way (vocals), Mikey Way (bass guitarist), Frank Iero (rhythm guitarist and backup vocals), Ray Toro (lead guitarist and backup vocals); and finally

Bob Bryar (drummer). They were discovered after offering free downloads of their songs, recorded in a band members attic on MySpace and PureVolume, it was threw this they would build a very large fan base.

In 2003 they got a major breakthrough and signed a contract with Reprise Records. The band began work on their second album "Three Cheers For Sweet Revenge" which went platinum in a year. Over time they have had hits such as "Teenagers" and "Welcome to the Black Parade", performing at many music venues such as the NEC in Birmingham; and much more.

As for the future, the band have announced a final tour before going on a break, and making a "return to punk rock" album, and releasing a CD/DVD entitled "The Black Parade is Dead". As for their fourth album, the release is expected in late 2009.
